Housing Support Accommodation

A Safe Place to Get Back on Your Feet

If life has knocked you off track, we can help you get stable again.

Brightside Housing provides safe, supported accommodation for adults who are struggling and at risk of      becoming homeless. If you’re going through a difficult time — whether it’s a relationship breakdown, family arguments, job loss, bereavement, or life simply getting on top of you — you don’t have to face it alone.

We offer housing support, not therapy or intensive care. Our goal is simple: keep you safe, keep you housed, and help you get back on your feet.

Who Brightside Is For

We support adults who:

  • are at risk of homelessness
  • need a stable place to live
  • claim benefits or have low income
  • want structure, safety, and a fresh start
  • are dealing with stress, anxiety, or life changes
  • need time and space to rebuild

You might be:

  • leaving a relationship
  • sofa‑surfing
  • struggling after losing a job
  • grieving a loved one
  • drinking more than you should
  • feeling overwhelmed or isolated
  • facing eviction
  • staying somewhere unsafe

If any of this sounds familiar, Brightside may be right for you.

Who Brightside Is Not For

We are not a service for people with:

  • active, high‑risk substance misuse
  • violent behaviour
  • unmanaged severe mental health crises
  • needs that require 24/7 support or supervision

We’re here for people who need stability, not crisis intervention.

What We Expect From You

Brightside works best when residents:

  • want stability
  • follow house rules
  • respect others
  • engage with basic support
  • keep their room safe and clean
  • communicate if they’re struggling

You don’t need to be perfect — you just need to be willing.

Why People Choose Brightside

  • It’s safe
  • It’s structured
  • It’s calm
  • It’s supportive
  • It’s not chaotic
  • It’s not a “hostel”
  • It’s not a crisis centre
  • It’s a place to breathe, reset, and rebuild

Many of our residents come to us at the lowest point in their lives — and leave stronger, more stable, and ready for independence.

How to Apply
